About the Event
'Halo-Halo-Mix-Mix, Family Portraits by Ryan Arbilo' is Arbilo's latest black and white photography exhibition.
The portraits feature mixed-race families composed of Filipina mothers, European fathers, and their children, taken in different cities in Italy. The photographer aims to create awareness and understanding of the notion of globalization in a nation with mixed-race relations, culture, language, and upbringing. Each family portrait has its own story to tell.
