About the Event

In celebration of Buwan ng Panitikan (National Literature Month), writers, readers, students, and book lovers are invited to a bookstore tour that will highlight Filipino-owned bookstores within and north of Metro Manila on April 8 to 10, 2016.

The Pinoy Bookstore Tour is spearheaded by the National Book Development Board (NBDB), in partnership with National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) and Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino (KWF).

Readings, literary discussions, book raffles, acoustic performances, and book signings are among the activities included in the Pinoy Bookstore Tour. Plus, participants will get to meet and greet their favorite Filipino authors in each of the bookstore stops: Marne Kilates, Nikki Alfar, Regina Abuyuan, Norma Respicio, Ayer Arguelles, Kristian Cordero, Borg Sinaban, Mervin Malonzo, Joselito Delos Reyes, Bebang Siy, Egay Samar, and Manix Abrera.

The tour will feature three (3) bookstores in Metro Manila on Day 1, two (2) bookstores in Central Luzon on Day 2, and one (1) bookstore in Baguio City on the last day. Freebies and special deals await book buyers in all bookstores.

Slots for the tour are limited so sign up now and just follow these simple steps:
