She then goes on a journey that takes her from her comfortable life at the Upper West Side and the nightclubs of Greenwich Village to the city’s comedy industry and the “Tonight’s Show” couch.

Fleabag is a British series from Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and is based on a one-woman show she first performed in 2013. It’s about Fleabag, a dry-witted woman who heals and copes with tragedy as she tries to navigate life and love in London.
Waller-Bridge also starred as the titular character in the TV adaptation, where she won the British Academy Television Award for Best Female Comedy Performance.
