Netflix Unveils First Look at Young Lady Danbury in ‘Bridgerton’ Spinoff ‘Queen Charlotte’
After getting a good look at Queen Charlotte and King George’s younger counterparts in the trailer for Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, we now get a good look at the young Lady Danbury in a new Netflix still. Check out the photo below:
Portrayed by Adjoa Andoh in the original series, Lady Danbury is a senior matron who is considered to be one of the most influential women in London. She will be played by Arsema Thomas in the prequel spinoff which tells of the young romance between the future King George and his queen, Charlotte.
Shonda Rhimes serves as the showrunner while Tom Verica serves as the director for the Bridgerton spinoff. It also stars India Ria Amarteifio, Corey Mylchreest, Golda Rosheuvel, Ruth Gemmell, and Michelle Fairley. It is set for release this 2023.
The Bridgerton franchise is based on the romantic book series by Julia Quinn.
