Wednesday and the Addams Family have arrived in the modern world in Netflix’s new live-action series! In the official teaser trailer of the Addams Family spinoff, Wednesday, we finally get to see Tim Burton’s take on the iconic household.

The series follows Jenna Ortega’s Wednesday Addams who just got expelled from another school after attacking his brother’s bullies. Her parents, Gomez and Morticia, finally had the bright idea of putting their daughter into Nevermore Academy, a school where she would fit in. But soon, Wednesday would find herself in a “nightmare full of mystery, mayhem, and murder.”

From the mind of director Tim Burton, who brought us films like Corpse Bride and Edward Scissorhands, Wednesday also stars Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzman, Gwendoline Christie, Christina Ricci and more. It is set for release on Netflix around fall this year.
