Heads up, card game lovers! Your favorite strategic card game is heading to Netflix soon! Exploding Kittens, Kickstarter’s most-backed project that’s sold over 18 million games, is going to get its own animated series and a mobile game within the Netflix app, free for subscribers to play!

The Exploding Kittens adult animated comedy series is coming in 2023, and it will feature the voices of Tom Ellis (Lucifer), Lucy Liu (Elementary), Abraham Lim (Clickbait), and more. In the upcoming series, God and the Devil are sent to Earth in the bodies of chunky house cats.

Meanwhile, the mobile will be available on Netflix in May 2022. It will feature the same classic gameplay where players avoid the Exploding Kitten. It will also include two new exclusive cards: Radar and Flip Flop. Radar reveals the position of the Exploding Kitten closest to the top of the deck, while Flip Flop reverses the order of the cards in the deck. The mobile game will have themes connected to the animated series in the future and feature its characters. There will be both single and multiplayer options, and similar to other mobile games already available on Netflix, this game will also be available for free for Netflix subscribers.
