The Women’s Month celebration continues on Cinema One as the cable channel showcases the many facets of women and their unique gifts through Kathryn Bernardo-led movies.

Here are five girl roles with goals proving that Pinays know how to strive for what they want and are proud of their true selves:

1. A Daughter Who Fights For Her Family in “Three Words To Forever

Kathryn is joined by no less than the Megastar Sharon Cuneta in “Three Words to Forever,” a family movie that narrates the journey of Tin (Kathryn) as she explores the idea of marriage and fights for her family, while her mother Cristy (Sharon) re-examines her 25-year wifehood with husband Rick (Richard Gomez).

2. A Loving And Forgiving Sister in “Way Back Home”

Jessica, played by Julia Montes, and Joanna/Anna (Kathryn) are long-lost sisters in “Way Back Home,” who struggle with a childhood incident that changed their lives and now face the challenge of finding their way back home—through forgiveness and love.

3. A Woman Who Knows What She Wants in “Can’t Help Falling In Love”

Kathryn is Gab in “Can’t Help Falling In Love” who got married to Dos (Daniel Padilla) by accident. She then seeks annulment to be able to marry her boyfriend and takes on an exciting journey with Dos to achieve what she really wants.

4. A Boyish Adolescent-Turned-Blooming Teen In “Must Be Love”

As a boyish teenage girl named Patchot (Kathryn) who was raised by his dad and brothers, she struggles to be seen as a young lady with feelings, too, especially with Ivan (Daniel) who only sees her as his best friend. Recognizing her desire to be loved in return, Patchot transformed into a beautiful girl who is ready to win his best friend over.

5. A Free-Spirited Lass Who Has A Good Heart In “Crazy Beautiful You”

Jackie (Kathryn) is a rebellious young lady who is forced to participate in a medical mission in Tarlac in hopes that she would become a better person.
