Konami is reviving the Silent Hill franchise with a full lineup of exciting titles fans could look forward to!

The Silent Hill Transmission streamed today, running for 48 minutes and unwrapping multiple announcements including new games, a new movie, and a Silent Hill 2 remake. Watch the full video and check out the list of upcoming titles below:

Silent Hill 2 Remake

Konami and the Bloober Team are revamping Silent Hill 2 which will be available on the PlayStation 5, made with new technology, and will be playable in 4K. It will also be made with the help of the original Team Silent artist Masahiro Ito and composer Akira Yamaoka.

Silent Hill 2 follows James Sunderland who receives a letter from his late wife and finds himself on a trip to the terrifying town of Silent Hill in order to find her.

Silent Hill Townfall

This spinoff game from No Code Studios and Annapurna Interactive promises a new take on the horror game franchise. More details about the game are yet to be revealed.

Silent Hill F

This Silent Hill game is set in the ’60s in Japan, with a story written by Japanese writer Ryukishi07 who created the visual novels Higurashi and Umineko. The brief trailer for the upcoming game featured some disturbing imagery as a girl gets enveloped by flowers. Further details about the game are still under wraps.

Silent Hill: Ascension

Silent Hill: Ascension is expected to be an immersive and interactive live experience for Silent Hill fans. The interactive experience promises to recreate the feeling of being scared together among the audience, and the decisions made in the game will shape the Silent Hill canon forever. Silent Hill: Ascension is set for release in 2023.

Return to Silent Hill

The third movie from Silent Hill‘s film series is now in the works, with director Christophe Gans helming the project. Gans also directed the first film in the franchise. More details about the film are soon to be revealed.
