The Optical Shop

As envisioned 30 years ago, The Optical Shop Incorporated, a definitive name in the eyewear and eye care industry, began its pioneering concept of a one-stop eyewear center in 1986 with eye care service sales and fashion center, all under one roof. First popularized in the US, the local prime movers behind this innovative endeavor are Dr. Gil E. Divinagracia, a well-known Optometrist; Dr. Noel Santos, another Optometrist; and their friend, Engr. Cesar Mercado. The Optical Shop was borne in response to the growing public need for the convenience of getting all their optical products in just one place. The Company fulfilled these needs, and at the same time, had grown into a very successful venture - trailblazing its way towards the forefront of the eyewear and eye care industry. The shop now boosts of 23 branches in Metro Manila and nearby provinces. Each shop carries a wide variety of frames and sunglasses, from the classic to the newest models of renowned designers worldwide; the various types of lenses, eyewear accessories, and repair services. It has exclusive distribution rights for well-known brands such as Cerruti, American Optical (AO) Skymaster Sunglasses, Nigura, Genny, Byblos, Lafont, WallStreet, Blu-Jio, Enjoy, Newave, Aces Polo, Silhouette and other designer brands.
