In 2001, the first Gourdo's store opened in an old and abandoned Italian restaurant at The Fort Entertainment Complex in Taguig City. Rebuilt into the first and flagship Gourdo's store, it was a place where homemakers, food and cooking enthusiasts, professional chefs, and restaurant-owners found a great selection of culinary tools from around the world, with helpful, knowledgeable employees who loved cooking, too. Gourdo's Incorporated has now grown to more high-end specialty houseware stores in Metro Manila - GOURDO'S, LIVING WELL, SLEEPCARE, GOURDO'S WORLD MARKET, and AS IS WHERE IS - along with a website and highly popular cooking courses. Over 500 team members see to it that we're the place for the best selection of exclusive and premium-quality goods for the home. Our website is an extension of our in-store experience. In 2006, Gourdo's won the ultimate accolade in houseware retailing, capturing the Global Innovator Award (GIA) at both Pan Asia and Global levels during the International Home and Houseware Show at McCormick Place, Chicago, USA.
