A young Ilokana girl is forced by poverty to seek employment abroad. She lands in the home of an influential sheik in an Arab emirate, where she is given the honor of being the nanny of the Sheik's only male child. Away from her family and home, she begins to build a new life in this foreign land, finding new family in the people around her.
