Maria Thayer (born October 30, 1975) is an American actress/comedian from Boring, Oregon, She specializes in farce and is known for her roles as Wyoma in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Rory in Accepted and Tammi Littlenut in Strangers with Candy. In Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Thayer plays a Mormon newlywed on her honeymoon with her new husband, played by Jack McBrayer. Thayer and McBrayer reunited on an episode of 30 Rock in which she portrays Kenneth Parcell's blind, shallow love interest. She also played Grace and Leo's daughter, Lila (at age 18), in the series finale of Will & Grace(2006). In 2009, Thayer appeared in the film State of Play as Sonia Baker, the researcher and mistress of a congressman, played by Ben Affleck. Born in Oregon on a bee farm to a family allergic to bees, she attended Apple Valley High School in Minnesota, where she was a member of the award-winning forensics program and the National Forensic League. At Apple Valley, Maria was Homecoming Queen and became best friends with Lance Fensterman who now runs New York Comic Con. Thayer studied acting at The Juilliard School in New York. In 2012, Thayer was featured in the music video "Sensitive Man" by Nick Lowe. She currently co-stars with Chris Elliott in the Adult Swim comedy series Eagleheart, which began airing on February 3, 2011 on Cartoon Network. Thayer appears in the new Netflix reboot of Arrested Development in flashback scenes as the posthumous character, Tracey Bluth.
