Michael McGrady

Michael Steven McGrady (born on March 30, 1960) is an American theater, film and television actor. He also an artist whose work is represented in various galleries throughout the United States.

McGrady was born in Federal Way, Washington to Gloria, a hair salon owner, and George McGrady, an airline mechanic. For High School, he attended Federal Way High School and attended the University of Washington majoring in Business Administration. He currently resides in Southern California with his wife Ilka and his 3 children. His daughter Hunter is a model and actress as well.
McGrady had planned to become a lawyer and was working at a bank when his sister entered him in a contest for a scholarship to a local acting school. After that McGrady moved to California to pursue his dream of becoming an actor.
McGrady was quickly cast in one of the US's first Cherry Pepsi commercials. From that point McGrady has worked steadily in the industry for almost 30 years. He has guest starred in several popular television shows such as 24, Castle, Hawaii Five O, Longmire, Breakout Kings, CSI: Miami, Leverage and Prison Break. He starred as Daniel "Sal" Salinger on the TNT drama Southland, which premiered in April 2009. The show was let go by NBC after its first season, but cable channel TNT bought the rights for the show and ordered 7 new episodes.
McGrady gave his voice and likeness to Rockstar Games period video game L.A. Noire as Rusty Galloway, and most recently starred along with Robert De Niro and Forest Whitaker in the film Freelancers. He starred in Low Winter Sun for AMC as Brendan McCann and as Cy in the independent feature Blue Potato. He can be seen as Detective John Gentile alongside John Cusack and Nicolas Cage in The Frozen Ground.
