Jonathan Frederick "Jon" Tenney (born December 16, 1961) is an American actor who is most known for his work on The Closer and Major Crimes, in which he plays the role of Fritz Howard. --- Tenney was born in Princeton, New Jersey, the son of Lillian Sandra Baum, a psychiatrist, and Frederick Haworth Tenney, a research physicist. He married producer Leslie Urdang on June 16, 2012.
