Christy Scott Cashman
Christy Scott Cashman is an American actress, writer, producer and philanthropist.
Cashman is a founding partner, actor, producer, and writer for Saint Aire Productions. She is credited as an Executive Producer for The Kids Are All Right (film) and acquired screen rights to NY Times bestselling The Noticer, by Andy Andrews with a shoot date set for Winter 2013 in Alabama.
She serves on the board of Grub Street, Inc. in Boston, Massachusetts, and is a founding member of the American Film Institute National Council.
She has written three feature-length film scripts, including The Love Guide, which is to be distributed worldwide. She has starred in a self-produced animated short, Descendants (film) with Whoopi Goldberg. Her acting credits include over 20 feature films.
She won Woman of the Year in 2012 with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Cashman formerly co-hosted "Open Book Club" on New England Cable News and currently hosts "Back Story" for CBS show "Style Boston."
She appeared in several films from 1999 until 2011, including Edge of Darkness.
