Sammy Sheik (born November 15, 1981) is an Egyptian actor. Sammy is best known for his recurring role of "Masheer" on the hit Fox series 24.

One of his first and many breaks was given to him by Albert Brooks. He was cast to play Al Jazeera executive, Mukhtar Al-Mujib in Mr. Brooks' feature film, Looking for Comedy in the Muslim World. Soon thereafter, Sammy started landing roles on numerous hit series. He played the calculating hooded eyed killer, Mohamed El-Razani on the FX series, Over There, the terrorist ring leader, Masheer Abu Marzuq on Fox's 24, which led to the role of Jamal Bin Mohamed on 24's spinoff show The Rookie. He also played the hot blooded bedouin, Kamal on ABC's hit show Lost, and other guest appearances on Navy NCIS, The Unit, My Own Worst Enemy, In The Moment, and many more. Sammy is currently playing the recurring role Hany on the Showtime hit show United States of Tara. In March 2010, Sammy was appointed as a UN-Y Peer ambassador for the Middle East.
