Bill Burr

William "Bill" Burr (born June 10, 1968) is an American stand-up comedian, actor, and podcast host. --- Burr was born in Canton, Massachusetts. His father was a dentist, and Burr worked as a dental assistant for a short time. Burr is of German and Irish descent. He attended Emerson College, where he majored in Radio and had an early morning slot on college radio. Burr began stand-up at age 23. In 1995, he moved to New York City and lived there for eight months. Burr then moved to Los Angeles, where he worked on a number of film and television projects. He returned to New York in 1999 and moved back to Los Angeles in 2008.
