Hunter Parrish

Hunter Parrish (born May 13, 1987) is an American actor and singer. He is known for playing Silas Botwin in Showtime's television series Weeds. --- Parrish was born in Richmond, Virginia, and raised in Plano, Texas. His mother, Annie Parrish, works with autistic children, and his father, Bruce Tharp, is an engineer. In 2007, he graduated from Plano Senior High School and from the Texas Tech University Independent School District. Parrish is a "liberal Christian".
