Salvacion Lim Higgins

Salvacion Lim-Higgins (January 28, 1920 – September 15, 1990), also known professionally as Slim, was a Filipino fashion designer known for her haute couture. She is considered by many Filipino culture critics to be the mother of the modern terno.In 2022, she was posthumously conferred as a National Artist of the Philippines, being the second fashion designer to receive the distinction following her contemporary Ramon Valera.
