A Deadly Equation: The Official Synopsis

Christian Wolff (Ben Affleck) is a mathematical genius with a particular set of skills—skills that make him a target. When a former acquaintance is murdered, leaving behind a cryptic message to “find the accountant,” Wolff is drawn into a dangerous conspiracy.

Realizing he can’t do this alone, he enlists the help of his estranged and equally deadly brother, Brax (Jon Bernthal). With U.S. Treasury Deputy Director Marybeth Medina (Cynthia Addai-Robinson) on their side, they uncover a high-stakes cover-up that puts them in the crosshairs of a ruthless network of killers.
