A former special forces mercenary, Baek has taken control of Korea’s illegal online gambling scene from his base in the Philippines. Known for his brutal methods—including abduction, confinement, and murder—Baek is set to be the most formidable villain in The Roundup series.

Kim Moo-yul’s performance as Baek Chang-gi has already garnered praise, with many calling him the most dangerous adversary Ma Seok-do has ever faced. Don Lee himself couldn’t imagine anyone else embodying the role, praising Kim for his perfect blend of action, acting, and intimidating presence.

Another standout character in the film is IT genius Chang Dong-cheol, played by Lee Dong-hwi, widely recognized for his role in Reply 1998. As the CEO of QM Holdings, Chang Dong-cheol is hatching even bigger plans, making him a key player in this high-stakes game.

The Return of Beloved Characters
