In the mystical realm of Rosas, where wishes turn into reality, we meet our hero, Asha, voiced by the talented Ariana DeBose. Asha, an aspirant apprentice to King Magnifico (Chris Pine), uncovers Rosas’ concealed secrets. Her discovery leads to a powerful wish, introducing her to Star, a lively ball of energy. Accompanied by her loyal goat, Valentino, voiced by Alan Tudyk, Asha embarks on a valiant quest to protect the kingdom and preserve the power of wishing.

Helmed by acclaimed directors Chris Buck and Fawn Veerasunthorn, “Wish” is brought to life by producers Peter Del Vecho, Juan Pablo Reyes, and Lancaster Jones. The narrative’s heart is penned by Jennifer Lee and Allison Moore, ensuring a tale that resonates with depth and delight. The film is further elevated by seven original songs from Julia Michaels and Benjamin Rice, alongside a captivating score by Dave Metzger.

Adding a unique cultural touch, Filipino fans can revel in “Aking Hiling,” a special Filipino rendition of the film’s anthem “This Wish,” performed by the gifted Zephanie. Available on Spotify and soon on YouTube, this version promises to strike a chord with local audiences.
