Get ready for an epic adventure as Harrison Ford dons the iconic fedora once more in “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.” Experience this thrilling final chapter of a much-loved franchise now playing in Philippine cinemas nationwide.
Premiere Extravaganza
To celebrate the arrival of the final Indy instalment, Ayala Malls Vertis North was transformed into a virtual cave of wonders last June 25. Devoted fans, as well as franchise newcomers, savored the Indiana Jones-themed cave photo wall, immersing them in Indy’s world of adventures. Dressed as their favorite characters, the attendees reveled in a string quartet’s rendition of the film’s legendary theme song, setting the atmosphere alight.
A New Chapter Unfolds
“Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” sees Harrison Ford reprising his role as the heroic archaeologist. Donning his signature fedora, leather jacket, and trusted whip one last time, Indy embarks on a quest for a priceless treasure.
Intending to enjoy his retirement away from hair-raising escapades, Indy’s plans take an unexpected turn with the sudden arrival of his goddaughter, Helena Shaw. Helena seeks Indy’s aid to track down the Archimedes Dial, a powerful artifact capable of controlling time.
When Helena swipes the dial to auction it to the highest bidder, Indy is thrust back into a world of danger to prevent this potent relic from falling into nefarious hands. On this exhilarating journey, he crosses paths with familiar faces and a formidable foe from his past—Jürgen Voller, a former Nazi hell-bent on altering the course of world history with the Archimedes Dial.
Star-studded Lineup
Joining Harrison Ford on this daring quest are Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Antonio Banderas, John Rhys-Davies, Shaunette Renée Wilson, Thomas Kretschmann, Toby Jones, Boyd Holbrook, Olivier Richters, Ethann Isidore, and Mads Mikkelsen.
James Mangold expertly helms “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny,” with a script penned by Jez Butterworth & John-Henry Butterworth, David Koepp, and Mangold himself. Based on characters created by George Lucas and Philip Kaufman, the film is produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Frank Marshall, and Simon Emanuel. Steven Spielberg and George Lucas serve as executive producers, with the iconic score once again composed by the legendary John Williams.
