‘Stranger Things’ Star Sadie Sink Joins New Thriller About Cults, ‘Berlin Nobody’

‘Berlin Nobody’ follows a man doing research on German cult mentality.

Sadie Sink, who plays Max in the hit show Stranger Things and starred in the Fear Street films, has joined the cast of the upcoming thriller film, Berlin Nobody.

Inspired by the 2015 novel Tokyo, by Nicholas Hogg, Berlin Nobody follows the American ex-pat and social psychologist Ben Monroe, who relocates to Berlin for his research on the rise of cult mentality. As he dives deeper into German cultism, his rebellious teenage daughter Mazzy is charmed by a mysterious local boy.

Sadie is set to play Mazzy, while Ben will be played by Eric Bana, best known for his roles in Hulk and The Time Traveler’s Wife. Sylvia Hoeks, Jonas Dassler, and Sophie Rois are also part of the cast.

Before Sadie, Kiernan Shipka of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina was supposed to play the part of Mazzy. Shipka has now been announced to star in Prime Video’s Red One which also stars Dwayne Johnson and Chris Evans
