Filipino cuisine is renowned for its warmth, comforting flavors, and rich heritage. Siklab+, the latest concept from The Bistro Group, aims to elevate this beloved tradition. Opening its doors this August at Shangri-La Plaza in Mandaluyong City, Siklab+ offers a dynamic dining experience that reinterprets classic Filipino dishes with a modern and innovative approach.

An ode to the diversity of flavors in Filipino cuisine, it will offer a dining experience that is both satisfyingly familiar and yet vibrantly exciting with its bold takes on the countryā€™s traditional culinary heritage with an approachable modern touch.  

A Bold Take on Traditional Flavors

At Siklab+, the flavors are audacious and commanding, designed to captivate and satisfy. Each dish is a bold declaration of culinary excellence, presented in strikingly unique tableware that invites diners to plunge into a world of vibrant tastes and aromas. From starters to main courses, every item on the menu is a crafted masterpiece waiting to be discovered.

Signature Dishes and Must-Try Delights

Some of its signature dishes are Ginataang Kuhol (Kuhol ni Tanggol), Kare Kare (KKK: Klasikong Kare-Kare), Pancit Negra (Pancit Itim) and Pinatisang Fried Chicken.

Kare Kare (KKK: Klasikong Kare-Kare): A timeless Filipino stew reimagined with rich flavors and succulent meats.

The menu doesn’t stop there. Explore more Filipino favorites like Ok na Okoy and Paboritong Pork Sisig, Pinalutong na Tawilis and Anak ng Tokwaā€™t Baboy, or delve into the fresh tastes of Gising-Gising Na! and the ubiquitous Bet Na Pinakbet. Seafood lovers and soup enthusiasts will find solace in dishes like SinigangBulalo Ala Eh!, and Garlicky Squid Adobo.

Ginataang Kuhol (Kuhol ni Tanggol): A creamy, spicy snail dish that’s as adventurous as it is delightful.

There is a selection of comforting soups and seafood choices, such as Sinigang that comes in choices of pork or milkfish;  Bulalo Ala Eh!; Siniklabang Tuna Belly and Garlicky Squid Adobo 

Pancit Negra (Pancit Itim): Squid ink brings a deep, sea-savored twist to this traditional noodle dish.

Aside from Kare-Kare,  meat dishes are  Pinalutong na Tadyang, Pinoy-Bistek, Siniklabang Manok, Crispy Diniguan, Bopis  ni Ima and Kalderetang Kordero, best eaten with Dilis, Bagoong or  Chorizo Rice.

Pinatisang Fried Chicken: A salty-savory fried chicken that offers a crispy, golden, and juicy dish.

For snacks, there are the Special Lomi, PBG: Pancit Bihon Guisado, and Pancit Palabok while desserts include various kakanin, Turon Trio, Bonggang Bibingka and Puto Bumbong. Specialty drinks like Kamias Pineapple Slush, Tsokolate at Kalamansi, Ube Kolada,  Sierra Madre and Dalandan ng Ale complete the menu.
