Old School Pinoy Desserts Make a Comeback at Max’s Restaurant This Summer

Order the Knickerbocker, Ice Scramble, and Ube-Cheese Turon at Max's this summer!

Maxā€™s Restaurant, the iconic Filipino restaurant chain famous for its Sarap-to-the-BonesĀ® Fried Chicken is welcoming the summer season with old-school Pinoy desserts by bringing back childhood favorites for a dose of sweet nostalgia.

Since the summer heat is starting to kick in, customers can enjoy its Classic Pinoy Samalamig to stay cool and refreshed. Guests can choose from any of these two new treats:

Knickerbocker ā€“.Maxā€™s Halo-Halo now has a fruitier version with this cooler inspired by the popular dessert in Zamboanga. Itā€™s made from a delectable concoction of fresh watermelon, mango, buko strings, gulaman, milk, and topped with Selectaā€™s strawberry ice cream and bits of our iconic Caramel Bar. Itā€™s priced at P99 for dine-in.

Ice Scramble ā€“ A classic Filipino summertime treat made from shaved ice, skimmed milk, sugar, and topped with colorful sprinkles, mini marshmallows, and chocolate syrup. It comes in two enjoyable flavors ā€“ Classic and Ube. Itā€™s only P79 for dine-in.

Another favorite Filipino snack is Turon. Both kids and kids at heart canā€™t get enough of this deep-fried dessert. Maxā€™s puts a twist on the usual Turon by combining two appetizing flavors to it.

Ube-Cheese Turon ā€“ A Pinoy dessert made with mouth-watering ube and cheese wrapped in crunchy Spring Roll wrappers. Itā€™s also served with Selectaā€™s ube and cheese ice cream for a complete tropical treat. Customers can get it for only P169 for dine-in.

These new summer offers are available for dine-in, take-out, and delivery in all stores nationwide starting March 4, 2022. Orders can also be made through delivery.maxschicken.com or 888-79000.Ā
