About the Event
In celebration of Museums and Galleries Month, The Museum at De La Salle University offers free entrance to its current exhibit, AGOS: Conversations in Waterscapes by Filipino Artists, for the whole month of October.
In this series, artists enkindle our fascination with the environment as well as interest in safeguarding our natural resources. This collection of waterscapes is a celebration of the magnificence of nature and a homage to water for its power to shape our dreams, our lives, and our culture.
The exhibit presents works from the Wili and Doreen Fernandez and University art collections and selected Filipino artists.
Among the featured artists are: Fernando Amorsolo, Botong Francisco, HR Ocampo, Juvenal Sanso, Anita Magsaysay-Ho, Philipp Badon, Dom Briones, Henri Cainglet, Wilfredo Calderon, Salvador Convocar, Amado Hidalgo, Galerie Joaquin, Raphael Kalaw, Pancho Piano, Jojo Ramirez, Yannie Rumbaoa, Eman Santos, Franklin Cana Valencia, and Jojoy Buan Zabala.
