About the Event
Three-time UAAP Cheerdance champions NU Pep Squad once again joins SM City Davao’s University Fair this weekend. The group is expected to cap the 3-day academic fair at the Annex on July 9 and kick off the interschool cheerdance competition Dance U on July 10.
Dance U will be open to all bona fide Junior – Senior High School and College level students. Participating schools are allowed a maximum of three (3) entries with each team having a minimum of ten (10) and a maximum of fifteen (15) members. All groups are given a three (3) to five (5) minutes to perform.
This year’s University Fair will bring the senior high and K-12 education into focus. The participating schools are expected to showcase their senior high and college programs as well as special courses.
Mapua Institute of Technology, De La Salle University- College of Saint Benilde, Silliman University, Sofa Design Institute, Ateneo de Davao University, University of the Philippines in Mindanao, Center for Asian Culinary Arts, Davao Doctors’ College, IChef and MOST Institute of Culinary Arts are expected to again participate in the event this year. The University of Mindanao as well as Career Academy Asia will also be joining the roster.
Apart from booths and school’s pitches, the event with the support of the Davao Association of Catholic Schools will also hold forums on basic education path, personal branding, alternative education and learning in the digital age.
