About the Event

Project Liwanag PH presents: Sampung Ningning sa Dilim - a charity gig for the solar PV electrification of 10 indigenous Aeta communities residing in the mountains of Capas, Tarlac.

Come down to Tomato Kick, Tomas Morato on July 8, 2017 at 9:00 pm and enjoy live performances from young, exceptional bands and artists: The Cohens, Sound Architects, Kysha's Krew, Sigma Drive, Bea dela Cruz, and Paolo Halili.

Each ticket (P350) will get you one cold beer, pleasant music, and good company. Moreover, all ticket sales will go to bringing light to these marginalized Aeta communities that will help improve their quality of living.

Project Liwanag PH is a non-profit organization founded by a group of fresh graduates from the Ateneo de Manila University, whose journey began in the mountains of Tarlac during their college immersion program. Moved by the experience they devoted themselves to empower indigenous Filipino communities through communal, sustainable projects and transformational grassroots parternships.

Project Liwanag PH presents: Sampung Ningning sa Dilim

Project Liwanag PH currently has projects such as communal solar PV electrification, water system rehabilitation, school aid/classroom construction, and sustainable livelihood programs - all for which community involvement is the heart of every project.

Five Aeta Mag-Antsi communities have already been energized; there are ten more Aeta communities belonging to the Aeta Abellen and Hungèy tribes with no access to sustainable light and electricity.
