From the staging and direction of Lipa Actors Company Artistic Director Luisito Nario comes a new musicale comedy ANG AWIT NG IBONG ADARNA. Originally adapted for LAC as the Adventures of Don Juan by Khelza McCarthy and premiered in 2014 with Canossa Academy Lipa GTEP Scholars. Awit ng Ibong Adarna is the latest offering of the only community repertory company in South of Manila.
Meet Don Juan and his unlikely brothers Pedro and Diego as they embark on a quest to capture the Adarna bird enable to rescue their father from a terrible sickness. Joining the musicales are peculiar but funny ermitanyo's and forest fairies which makes this production, LAC's brightest musical comedy!
Featuring songs from Fernando Silva, Kio Callado and Hezzel Cary Hernandez with LAC Music Team, Adarna will strongly carries the "Maniwala Ka Sa Kaya Mo" theme. Assistant Director and Head of Video Productions is Rhon Kenneth Mercado
