I fondly remember the first camp I attended as a kid. It wasn't in a jungle as I visualized and hoped it to be. Clad in our green and yellow uniform, my co-scouts and I stayed inside the school grounds for two days. During that camp, we bonded, played, and basically did all the things we could only dream about during a regular school day. Though the camp wasn't held in the mountains, or at least somewhere outdoors, the thought that for a day I'd stay in school, tend for myself, and roast marshmallows in an actual bonfire was already good enough for me.
For the young, summer means that school is out and it’s time to hang up school uniforms. For others, it’s a time to head out of town and enjoy lazy siestas by the beach.
Havaianas has certainly led the way for the unassuming and humble flip-flops to become the international icon of casual chic. Not only has Havaianas grown to become a category unto itself, it has also risen to represent the ideals and values of being original. At the recent launch of Rock Ed Original Project Grant at the North Court of Power Plant Mall, Rockwell, Havaianas loyalists made a stand for the same cause.

Along with Sunday, Tuesday seemed like a rest day for nocturnal events.

The ox is said to be patient, steadfast and hardworking, and these are good traits to imbibe in ourselves to usher in new beginnings.
Nationality is a lot more than a tick box in a personal data form. More than belonging to a nation, it is the sense of belongingness to her, embracing her good and bad, and with it the desire to contribute to her growth and development.
Girls always say they like guys who can make them laugh. If she leaves you stammering for the right words, why don't you catch a Comedy Cartel show and see if you can pick up a few pointers.
I am a true-blue city girl, born and raised in Manila, and probably a good number of you are city folks as well. But do we really know this Manila that we call home? Taking a step back from our everyday routine of work, school, or play will eventually make one realize how little we know of the hundreds of stories that resonate in our busy streets, in the edifices we pass by, and in the old structures that we tend to ignore. It is no doubt that Manila has a story to tell... she just wants us to take some time to listen, and listen well.
